Did you know...ricciarelli were created in Sienna (Tuscany) during the 14th century and are normally oval in shape with a cracked surface, and dusted with confectioner's sugar. Slightly crispy on the outside and marzipan like on the inside - ricciarelli are a favorite during the Christmas season and pairs perectly with dessert wines!
