Panettone is a rich egg bread that is traditionally served after the Christmas meal along with a glass of dessert wine, mixed nuts, dried fruit, and torrone. A new and unique Acetaia Leonardi creation, this Panettone (a buttery dome-shaped rich brioche bread) is studded with raisins and once baked, injected with a rich and succulent Balsamic Vinegar creme. PRODUCER INFORMATION | Founded in 1871 in Magreta di Formigne, a few miles north of the town of Modena, the Acetaia Leonardi is currently run by Giovanni Leonardi and his son, Francesco. The Leonardi's respect for tradition, their skill and their dedication to the art of aceto balsamico, result in vinegars consistently rated outstanding within the consortium. The farmhouse is surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards where they grow their own raw materials - mainly Trebbiano (white) and Lambrusco (red) grapes.
