Specializing in both chocolate and figs, the Marano brothers inherited the family business from their father.  Since 1930, Marano has focused on craftsmanship and traditional recipes.  Situated in Amantea, in the provice of Cosenza next to the Tyrrhenian coast.  Their methods of cultication and curing the figs are the ones that have been handed down since the time of the Magna Graecia (Latin meaning Great Greece - refers to the coastal areas on the Tarentine Gulf that were extensively colonized by Greek settlers starting in the 8th Century BC.)

Paciocchi Figs - Calabrian figs, sundried and oven baked, stuffed with almonds and flavored with orange peel, then coated with luxurious dark chocolate. Packaged in a basket and beautiful, yet simple, gold ribbon - these figs make a perfect gift.  Amazing!
