Gianluigi Peduzzi, the owner of Rustichella d'Abruzzo, selects only the finest olives from Abruzzo to produce his outstanding extra virgin olive oil. Made with 80% Dritta Francavillese and 20% Leccino Olives, harvested in October throughout the Vestine hills in Pianella, Italy. The olives are crushed and bottled within 36 hours of harvest, this extra virgin olive oil is a smooth, golden oil with a mild pepperiness and hints of mushroom. Use for creating pasta sauces, pestos, and pairs perfected with any Rustichella d'Abruzzo pasta. Also wonderful drizzled over salad, soups or stews.
